Using trend forecasting from WGSN a complex color forecast was created using information from both 2025 color forecasts and menswear specific forecasts

The Culminating Mood Board and Color story for TB FW25. Staple colors; Black, White, and Grey are removed for a more new color focused Concept presentation

Some examples of mood board and forecasted techniques to be used to incorporate the colors into the line.

minimalistic Geometric prints and color blocking allow for a break in the maximalist environment our consumers have been seeing throughout FW24 and SS25

As a secondary challenge to this project a scenario was presented:

The design team needs to change the chosen working green for the SS25 line as it does not match with the other selected colors.

I took this challenge with a methodical approach.

Theory: There is no need to change this color; working green is very important to the ideology of treasure and bond so removing it is not ideal. Instead, re-work the tone to find a more acceptable color.

I palleted out the original color, ‘Grape Leaf’ (19-0511 TCX), on the left of image one. This gave me the opportunity to find a tone that better fit the overall seasonal color direction.

I landed on #B9BAAC as it had the most complimenting appeal when comparing each tone to the SS25 Seasonal color palettes on WGSN.

I further Pantone this color to give me three slightly different cotton codes for further comparison.

Tactile Neutrals was a trend forecasted for SS25 it sought to use dusted pastels to give a cool compliment to the bright saturated seasonal colors.

In the final Comparison between the three Pantones I chose ‘Mineral Grey’ (15-5704 TCX), as it had a beautiful relationship with all of the seasonal colors and fit into the trends forecast better than the competitors.
